Human Rights Workshops
Interactive workshops introducing students aged 8–16 in Malaysia and Thailand to the global fight for equality, freedom, and justice.
Human Rights Workshops are interactive sessions for students aged 8 to 16 in Malaysia and Thailand, delivered with local NGO partners including Perak Women for Women (PWW) and translated into Malay and Thai so every student can follow along in their own language.
Workshops introduce students to figures who shaped the global fight for equality, freedom, and justice — among them Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., Malala Yousafzai, Rosa Parks, and Nelson Mandela — including a reading of Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
Beyond the presentations, students practise public speaking, building the confidence to articulate their own ideas about fairness and justice in their communities.
