Empower an Indigenous Malaysian Girl through English and Educational Courses
Nazira is working toward a career in medicine. An intensive English course at Mee Fah Language School in Thailand is her next step.
Meet Nazira
Nazira is a student from an indigenous community in Perak, Malaysia, with a deep love for languages and a clear goal: a career in medicine.
Despite her family’s financial hardships, Nazira has consistently excelled in her studies and keeps looking for the next challenge.
She has been accepted into a 1-month intensive ESL course at Mee Fah Language School in Koh Tao, Thailand, her stepping stone toward becoming a medical professional and giving back to her community.
During the course, Wonderland Jungle Hostel hosts her free of charge in a room built specifically for students, with an equipped classroom for homework and extra support.
The learning does not stop at English. At Wonderland, Nazira joins students from Thailand, Myanmar, and Malaysia in volunteer-led courses: computer skills, science, and social studies.

No. Horizon Asia Educational Association is a registered Austrian association (ZVR 1754047403), and donations are not tax-deductible in Austria. What you get instead is transparency: this page shows exactly what your money funds.
Can I change or cancel a monthly gift?
Yes, anytime. Donorbox, our payment provider, lets you manage your gift yourself, or email info@horizonasia.org and we will sort it out.
Who runs this program?
Horizon Asia Educational Association (HAEA), a nonprofit registered in Austria providing free education across Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar migrant communities. Wonderland Jungle Hostel on Koh Tao is our base of operations and hosts our students.
