Horizon Asia Educational Association (HAEA) is proud to support Tira, an inspiring young woman from the Semai tribe in Malaysia, on her path to becoming an educator. Tira is currently enrolled in a teacher training program with SUKA Society, a leading organization focused on uplifting Indigenous communities. This comprehensive course equips Tira with the tools and knowledge needed to make a profound impact on her village through education.

Cherry Koe, one of our bright students from Myanmar, has achieved a remarkable milestone on her educational journey. Moving from eager student to volunteer teacher, she is now teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to children from Myanmar, passing on the knowledge and skills she once received. Today, we celebrate the incredible achievements of Kirosha, a dedicated student from Malaysia, who has successfully completed two comprehensive medical courses sponsored by HAEA.

We are thrilled to celebrate the incredible contributions of Maroezka Williams, an ESL volunteer teacher at Horizon Asia Educational Association (HAEA). With her creative and engaging teaching methods, Maroezka made learning English fun and accessible for students from Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand at Wonderland Jungle Hostel. Her energy, dedication, and unique approach left a lasting impact on her students and made her classes a highlight of their educational journey.

After a month of dedication and hard work, Vanisa, one of our talented Orang Asli students, has received her ESL certificate from Mee Fah ESL School in Koh Tao. This marks her first educational certificate, an incredible achievement made possible through the support of Horizon Asia Educational Association (HAEA) and Wonderland Jungle Hostel. Vanisa’s success is a testament to the transformative power of education.

HAEA, in collaboration with NGO Perak Women for Women, proudly organized inspiring Human Rights workshops in Malaysia. These engaging sessions empower children with the knowledge of equality, freedom, and justice, nurturing a generation that understands and stands up for their rights.
