Why monthly comes first
A monthly gift keeps a classroom open.
A one-time gift funds a single milestone: an exam fee, a course, a term of tuition. A monthly gift means HAEA can commit to a class before the term starts, keep two students housed and studying for their GED at Wonderland Jungle Hostel, and step in when the next student is ready. That is why monthly giving is the default option above.

Donation questions, answered
Is my donation tax-deductible in Austria?
Not currently. HAEA is a registered Austrian association (ZVR 1754047403), but as of our latest check it is not on Austria’s BMF list of tax-privileged organizations, so donations are not tax-deductible. If that status changes, we will update this page.
Where does my donation go?
General donations fund HAEA’s six program areas directly: English and GED classes, digital education, mentorship, skill-building, human rights workshops, and educational materials, across Thailand, Malaysia, and Myanmar migrant communities.
Can I cancel or change my monthly donation?
Yes. Monthly donations are managed through Donorbox. Cancel or change your amount any time via the link in your confirmation email, or by contacting info@horizonasia.org.
Can I donate with PayPal?
Yes. PayPal appears as a payment option inside the Donorbox checkout above, alongside credit and debit card.
