The Horizon Asia Education Association (HAEA) is excited to announce the launch of basic computer skills classes at Wonderland Jungle Hostel. These classes, held in the hostel’s communal area, are designed for kids and young adults from Myanmar, Thailand, and Malaysia.

Empowering Young Learners with Essential Digital Skills

Our goal is to equip these young learners with essential computer skills that will support their educational journeys and future careers. By learning how to use computers effectively, they gain access to a wealth of information and opportunities that were previously out of reach.

Comprehensive Curriculum Covering Fundamental Topics

The curriculum covers a range of fundamental topics, including:

  • Basic computer operation
  • Word processing
  • Internet browsing
  • Online safety

Additionally, students are introduced to various software applications that can aid in their studies and personal development.

A Supportive Learning Environment at Wonderland Jungle Hostel

The communal area at Wonderland Jungle Hostel provides a welcoming and supportive environment for these lessons. The hostel staff and volunteers are always on hand to assist the students and ensure they benefit fully from the classes.

Bridging the Digital Divide in Underserved Communities

This initiative is a vital part of HAEA’s mission to bridge the digital divide and empower underserved communities. By providing these young individuals with computer skills, we help them navigate a technology-driven world and open doors to new possibilities.
