Where Your Donation Goes
We are aiming to raise 1,000 RM (~$215) to cover the essential costs for Tira’s teacher training course with SUKA Society. This will ensure she can focus entirely on her studies and gain the skills needed to give back to her community. The funds will be allocated as follows:
Tuition and Accommodation: 1,000 RM (~$215)
Covers the cost of the teacher training course and provides Tira with accommodation during her time with SUKA Society.

Meet Tira
Tira, a bright and determined young woman from the Semai tribe in Malaysia, is on the path to achieving her dream of becoming a teacher. She has been accepted into a teacher training course with SUKA Society, starting in October 2024. Tira’s journey has been one of immense courage and dedication—she’s already traveled outside of Malaysia for an ESL course and now looks forward to making an even bigger impact in her community. However, to complete this training and bring her dream to life, she needs your support.
Personal Story:
Tira’s passion for education was sparked through her studies with HAEA, where she first started learning English. Her determination took her from a remote village to an international ESL course, which helped her grow both academically and personally. Now, she is ready to take the next step by becoming a teacher and giving back to her village by helping future generations gain access to education. This teacher training course is a pivotal moment in her journey, and with your help, Tira can achieve her dream of making a lasting impact on her community.
