The Horizon Asia Education Association (HAEA) is thrilled to announce the launch of weekly English classes for local Thai and Myanmar students, led by our dedicated volunteer, Maroezka from South Africa. These classes are designed to enhance the students’ English language skills, providing them with better opportunities for education and employment.

Volunteer Spotlight: Maroezka from South Africa

Maroezka brings her passion for teaching and extensive experience to these sessions, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment. The classes cover a wide range of topics, from basic grammar and vocabulary to more advanced conversation and comprehension skills. Each session is tailored to meet the unique needs of the students, ensuring that they can progress at their own pace.

Empowering Students Through English Education

The impact of these classes has been profound. Students are gaining confidence in their ability to communicate in English, which is crucial for their academic and professional futures. The interactive nature of the classes encourages active participation and fosters a love for learning among the students.

Holistic Learning: Cultural Awareness and Adaptation

In addition to language skills, the classes also focus on cultural awareness and adaptation, helping students to understand and appreciate different cultures. This holistic approach not only improves their language abilities but also broadens their horizons and prepares them for global opportunities.
